I pursued this certificate because UX Design combines the interests I have held for many years (design and working with people) with the technological skills that I am always eager to cultivate.

To read my design process, click here. Before building the website, I created branding guidelines to capture the look and feel of the site. From the color scheme, to the typography, to the imagery, every visual element was well thought-out and planned.

instructional design

As an Instructional Designer at a Human Services Agency, I create trainings that help to develop a workforce of about 2,000 employees. These workforce development learning solutions range from technology tutorial videos to mandatory compliance-related e-Learnings to career navigation tools. As much as possible, I strive to make my learning solutions mobile-friendly, since the majority of our workforce are direct care workers who do not sit at a desktop all day. Please find some examples of these mobile-first trainings below. You can find some Instructional Design content within the "Video Tutorials" section.

Mentorship Program Trainings

The purpose of the 2023 - 2024 Mentorship Program is to develop the workforce and to foster a strong community.

To kick-off the first internal mentorship program, I created 10 mobile app trainings (5 for the Mentors and 5 for the Mentees). These trainings were available to the participants through EdApp. Please see a video version of the interactive Mentor Training on the right.

Professional Videos

My professional videos include tutorials, interviews, informational videos and more. I am experienced in producing videos on Adobe Premiere, however, in my current role, I utlize Canva for video production because it is more cost effective.
